Any Commerce or non-commerce background person can become an accountant. After passing 12th class from commerce, many people choose to become an accountant. However non-commerce student from arts background can also become an accountant successfully.

There is no upper or lower limit of income. More efforts and more on an average one can earn anything between Rs.50, 000 to Rs.1, 00,000 per month working independently
In Government sector an accountant gets between 2 lacs to 3 lacs as starting salary, with various other emoluments like: – medical allowances, HRA with job security.
